Duetta

Duetta, a bicycle for sharing

The perfect bicycle for sharing with friends, family, and those with disabilities.
Our tandem bicycle is compact and easy to maneuver, making it a breeze to ride with a companion.

Normalizing the Shared Ride

Cars and motorcycles are built to be shared; why should bicycles be any different?
The Duetta was born from a simple question: What if two seats were the new standard for cycling?
Our goal is to make sharing the pedals as natural, practical, and intuitive as sharing a car ride.

Easy

Easier to maneuver than a  tandem bicycle.

Friendly

Now you can say: “I’ll give you a ride!”

Integrate

Safely ride along with disabled people.

Configurable

It is easy to adapt the bicycle for different uses.

The Duetta embodies, in every aspect,
the spirit of “Sharing…

Sharing the Pedals

Two people pedaling and this way the effort diminishes and they enjoy together the sensation of riding.

Sharing the Bicycles

As a way of public transport in cities. We want Duetta to be used on this type of system everywhere!

Sharing the Design!

We want makers, cooperatives, technical schools, NGOs, companies, etc. to build upon our designs!

The Experience: Visibility & Connection

The Duetta’s configuration redefines the social dynamic of shared cycling:

  • Unobstructed View: By placing the passenger in the front seat, they enjoy a full panoramic view. No more staring at the back of a captain; they are now the protagonists of the journey.
  • Adult-Child Ergonomics: It serves as the perfect “bridge” for children. They feel the thrill of leading the way while being safely supervised and guided from behind.

Efficiency by Design: More with Less

  • Minimalist Frame: A compact architecture that uses significantly less material than a standard tandem.
  • Simplified Mechanics: It operates with a single bottom bracket, reducing weight, maintenance, and production costs.

 The Hybrid Fleet

For organizations dedicated to inclusive mobility, complementarity is key. Adding the Duetta to your fleet lowers the entry barrier for new members, providing a safe and intuitive first experience before moving on to high-performance cycling.

Tandems & Duetta: The Right Tool for Every Need

Standard tandems and the Duetta are complementary tools. While one is built for the open road, the other is designed for the heart of the community.

How to choose: Which one to use?

Choose a Conventional Tandem when:Choose the Duetta when:
• You are two large adults on a long trip.• You want the passenger to see the world, not your back.
• The goal is speed and athletic performance.• You need an active tool for social integration.
• You are covering long distances on open roads.• You need an agile vehicle for daily urban tasks.

One for the road, one for the city. Together, they complete the circle of inclusion.
